  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then whisk in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and dollop with peanut butter. Pour remaining batter on top and gently swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but center remains soft. Allow to cool before slicing.
