  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, chopped onions, diced bell peppers, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper by hand until just combined.
  3. Stir in half of the ketchup and transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, smoothing it into an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and drizzle with the remaining ketchup.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until heated through and golden brown on top. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
