  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In one bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese. In another bowl, whisk together olive oil and Italian seasoning.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the olive oil mixture followed by the panko-Parmesan blend, pressing firmly to adhere.
  5. Place breaded chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  6. While chicken bakes, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and more Parmesan cheese.
  7. Once the sauce thickens (about 5-7 minutes), season with salt and pepper before serving alongside the crispy chicken.
