Instructions
- Slice the green plantains into 1-inch thick pieces.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange plantain slices in one layer and lightly spray with olive oil.
- Air fry for 8 minutes; remove and sprinkle with salt and garlic powder while hot.
- Gently smash each piece using a flat surface.
- Return smashed plantains to the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for another 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
